By Air – The nearest airport to Kedarnath is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is about 239 km away. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Kedarnath.
By Train – The nearest railway station to Kedarnath is in Rishikesh, which is about 216 km away. From the railway station, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Kedarnath.
By Road – Kedarnath is well connected by road to major cities in Uttarakhand and other parts of North India. You can hire a taxi or take a bus from cities like Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Delhi, etc. to reach Kedarnath.
If, You want to visit Kedarnath, Then It does not matter whether you are travelling in train, air or by road, Rishikesh is the main points from where you have to start your journey to the hilly area.

Dehradun Jolly Grand Airport → Rishikesh → Devprayag → Srinagar → Agastamuni → Guptkashi → Sonprayag → Gaurikund → Finaly 16 KM Trek to Kedarnath Temple
Rishikesh to Devprayag to Srinagar to Rudraprayag to Tilwara to Asastamuni to Kund.
After Reaching Kund You have to go to Guptakashi to Phata to Rampur to Sonprayad to Gaurikund and then finally Trek to Kedarnath Temple.
Once you arrive Jolly Grand Airport, you can take local bus, cab to reach Rishikesh Bus Stand. Dehradun and Rishikesh is approximately 45 kilometers (28 miles) by road. It takes around 1-2 hours to travel from Dehradun to Rishikesh, depending on the mode of transportation and traffic conditions.

Sonprayag to Kedarnarh Temple = 16 KM
