Day 01 Solo tour ( Ludhiana to Amritsar train Via Jalandhar ) – Travel Time 02:30H

  • Board train from Ludhiana ( LDH ) in Morning  arrive till Afternoon at Amritsar Station ( ASR ) ( Sleeper Class Fare Rs . 160 )
  • Arrived Amritsar City  – Take local auto or Rikshaw to reach your hostel/hotel.
  • Check – in the hostel ( Madpacker or Gostop ) Approx INR 500 per day
  • Sightseeing – Start your tour with a visit to the Golden Temple, which is open 24 hours.
  • After the Golden Temple, head to Jallianwala Bagh, which is a short walk away.
  • As you walk towards Wagah Border, try some street food from the vendors selling snacks like chole bhature, parathas, kulchas, and chaat. Some famous food spots in Amritsar include Kesar Da Dhaba, Bharawan Da Dhaba, and Brother’s Dhaba.
  • Reach Wagah Border by 3 pm to secure a good viewing spot for the flag-lowering ceremony. It starts at 4:30 pm and lasts for around 45 minutes. You can enjoy the patriotic fervor and the energetic crowd cheering on both sides.
  • After the ceremony, head back to the city and have dinner at one of the local restaurants serving traditional Punjabi cuisine. You can try the famous Amritsari fish, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, and lassi at places like Beera Chicken Corner, Makhan Fish, and Pal Dhaba.

Day 02 solo tour ( Amritsar to Dalhousie Train & Local Sightseeing ) – Travel Time 02:25H

  • Check – out from Amritsar hostel in early morning & have breakfast outsite asap to catch your train.
  • Reach Amritsar station 07:45 AM for board the train for Pathankot station.
  • Catch train 18309 at 08:35 AM or Next train to reach Pathankot station  ( Sleeper Class Fare Rs . 145 )
  • Arrive at 10:40 AM at Pathankot Station.
  • Take local bus From Pathankot to Dalhousie ( Fare Approx 120 Rs ) or Local taxi Approx 1200 to 1500 Rs.
  • Arrive Dalhousie approx 01 PM
  • Check – in at Hostel ( Zostel or Gostop ( Approx Per night Fare 350 to 600 per person )
  • Afternoon –
  • For lunch, head over to Kwality Restaurant, which is known for its delicious North Indian cuisine and great views of the valley
  • After lunch visit the Khajjiar Lake, which is a picturesque lake located amidst lush green meadows and is often referred to as the “Mini Switzerland of India“.
  • Evening –
  • For dinner, head over to Moti Mahal Deluxe, which is a popular restaurant that serves a variety of Indian and Chinese dishes.
  • After dinner, you can take a stroll along the Mall Road, which is a bustling street lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Day 03 /solo tour ( Full day Dalhousie Sightseeing Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary / Chamera Lake / Ganji Pahari / Tibetan Market  )

  • After breakfast at Hostel, Start your day by visiting the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary, which is a beautiful forest reserve that is home to a variety of wildlife species such as the Himalayan Black Bear, Barking Deer, and various bird species.
  • After that, head over to the Chamera Lake, which is a beautiful reservoir that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is a great place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
  • Afternoon –
  • For lunch, head over to Café Dalhousie, which is a cozy café that serves a variety of Indian and Continental dishes.
  • After lunch, you can visit the Ganji Pahari, which is a scenic spot that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Day 04 / solo tour ( Half day sightseeing & Check – out  )

  • After breakfast …
  • Start your day with a visit to St. John’s Church, which is a beautiful colonial-era church located in the heart of Dalhousie.
  • After that, head over to Panchpula, a scenic spot that is known for its natural beauty and waterfalls.
  • You can also visit the Satdhara Falls, which is a popular tourist spot and a great place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
  • Later come back to hostel, now it’s time to go back home same day or Next day early morning
  • Tour ends with sweet memories
